About Concordia University
Concordia was formed by the merger of Loyola College and Sir George Williams University. It teaches in English in the bilingual city of Montreal, and its downtown campus is well connected by the metro.
It has popular programmes in engineering and computer science, business at the John Molson School of Business, and fine arts. Montreal's living costs are generally lower than Toronto's or Vancouver's.

Studying in Canada?
Canada offers strong public universities and job-focused colleges, generous off-campus work rules and a post-graduation work permit. Since 2024 the government has capped new study permits and tightened work-permit rules, so course choice matters more than ever.
