This policy explains how the Moksh website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read with our privacy policy. Moksh EduFX Private Limited is in the process of being incorporated in India. Until incorporation is complete, "Moksh EduFX Private Limited" is the proposed legal name, and the website and services are operated by its founders on its behalf. We will update this page with the company's Corporate Identity Number (CIN), GSTIN and registered office address once they are issued.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits. They let a website remember your choices, keep you signed in and understand how pages are used. In this policy we call all of them cookies.
The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: needed for the website to work, for example to keep you signed in, remember your cookie choices, protect forms against spam and balance traffic. These are always on because the site cannot function without them.
- Preferences: remember choices such as your preferred destination, currency in the cost calculator or a dismissed banner.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which guides are read and where people leave, so we can improve it. We configure analytics to minimise the personal data collected.
- Marketing: measure whether our advertising works and show relevant Moksh adverts on other platforms. We do not use marketing cookies to target anyone we know to be under 18.
Your consent and choices
When you first visit the website we ask for your consent to preference, analytics and marketing cookies. They stay off unless you agree. Declining them does not stop you using the website.
You can change your choice at any time from the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party providers we use, such as analytics, video, maps or advertising services. These providers may process data outside India. They receive only what is needed for the service, and their use of the data is also governed by their own privacy policies.
How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for a set period, from a few days to up to two years for some analytics and preference cookies, or until you delete them. We review the list of cookies on our website regularly and remove those we no longer need.
