Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the Moksh website, our online tools and any content we publish. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Moksh EduFX Private Limited is in the process of being incorporated in India. Until incorporation is complete, "Moksh EduFX Private Limited" is the proposed legal name, and the website and services are operated by its founders on its behalf. We will update this page with the company's Corporate Identity Number (CIN), GSTIN and registered office address once they are issued.

Who we are

In these terms, "Moksh", "we", "us" and "our" mean Moksh EduFX Private Limited (proposed name, incorporation in progress), with its head office at Connaught Place, New Delhi 110001. "You" means any person who visits or uses the website, including students, parents, guardians and education partners.

Moksh provides study abroad counselling and application support to students in India. Counselling is free for students. We are paid by some education providers when a student we have advised enrols with them, and we disclose this openly.

Using the website

You may use the website for your personal, non-commercial purposes: researching study options, using our calculators and course search, registering for events and contacting us.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit personal information yourself. If you are under 18, a parent or lawful guardian must do so for you, or give verifiable consent as described in our privacy policy.
  • Information you give us must be true, complete and your own. Do not submit documents or details belonging to someone else without their permission.
  • You are responsible for keeping any login details confidential and for activity under your account.
  • Do not use the website to break any law, to send unsolicited messages, or to collect other users' personal data.
  • Do not attempt to probe, scan, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or our systems, or introduce malicious code. Such acts may be offences under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • Do not scrape, copy or republish our content or data in bulk, including through automated tools, without our written permission.

Information on this website

We work hard to keep course details, fees, living costs, visa rules and scholarship information accurate, and we show a 'last reviewed' date on our guides. However, universities, governments and test owners change their rules often, sometimes with little notice. Figures on the website are indicative and are not an offer or a quote.

Always check key details, especially fees, entry requirements, deadlines and visa rules, against the official source before you make a decision or a payment. Our disclaimer explains this in more detail.

Our counselling services

Advice from a Moksh counsellor is based on the information you provide and on the rules in force at the time. We do not guarantee admission to any institution, the award of any scholarship, or the grant of any visa. Those decisions are made solely by the institutions, scholarship bodies and governments concerned.

Moksh is not a law firm and does not provide immigration legal advice or legal representation. Where your situation needs specialist legal advice, for example a previous visa refusal or an immigration history in another country, we will tell you and suggest that you consult a qualified adviser.

Where a paid optional service is offered, such as English test preparation, its price and terms will be shown before you pay, and our refund policy applies.

Content you submit

If you post reviews, comments, questions or other material on the website or our social channels, you confirm that it is your own, is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not infringe anyone's rights.

You keep ownership of your content, but you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, edit for length and clarity, and use it in connection with our services. We will not publish your name, photograph or story in marketing material without your separate, explicit consent.

We may remove any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, abusive, misleading, that promotes discrimination or violence, that contains another person's personal data, or that advertises other businesses.

Intellectual property

The text, graphics, logos, design, software and other material on the website belong to Moksh or are used with the permission of their owners. The Moksh name and logo are our trade marks, and applications to register them may be pending.

You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use. You may share links to our pages. Any other copying, reproduction or adaptation needs our prior written permission.

Names and logos of universities, governments and test owners that appear on the website belong to them and are used only to identify them. Their appearance does not mean that they endorse Moksh or have a partnership with us unless we say so expressly.

Links to other websites

We link to official government, university, test owner and scholarship websites so that you can check information at source. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of those websites, and a link is not an endorsement. Any fees you pay on a third-party website are between you and that third party.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moksh is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content, including loss of admission, scholarship, visa, fees paid to third parties, income or opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Where we are liable to you in connection with a paid service, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid Moksh for that service.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and material changes will be highlighted on the website. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law to approach a consumer commission, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@mokshedufx.com. Complaints can be sent to our grievance team at grievance@mokshedufx.com.
