Counselling and application support from Moksh are free for students. This policy explains our position on fees, and the refund and cancellation rules for any optional paid service we may offer. Moksh EduFX Private Limited is in the process of being incorporated in India. Until incorporation is complete, "Moksh EduFX Private Limited" is the proposed legal name, and the website and services are operated by its founders on its behalf. We will update this page with the company's Corporate Identity Number (CIN), GSTIN and registered office address once they are issued.
Free services
We do not charge students for counselling, profile assessment, course shortlisting, application support, offer acceptance guidance, visa file review, pre-departure briefings or post-arrival support. There are no hidden 'processing', 'registration', 'documentation' or 'courier' fees for these services.
If anyone asks you to pay Moksh for any of these services, please do not pay, and report it to grievance@mokshedufx.com.
Fees you pay to third parties
Some costs in the study abroad process are charged by other organisations and paid directly by you to them. They include university application fees and tuition deposits, English test booking fees, visa application fees and health surcharges, SEVIS fees, biometric appointment fees, blocked account set-up fees, insurance premiums and accommodation deposits.
Moksh does not collect these fees on behalf of others and cannot refund them. Their refund rules are set by the organisation you paid. Where it helps, we will explain those rules and assist you in requesting a refund, for example a tuition deposit refund after a visa refusal.
Optional paid services
From time to time Moksh may offer optional paid services, such as English test preparation classes, mock test packages or premium coaching. The price, what is included, the schedule and these refund terms will be shown clearly before you pay. Prices are inclusive of applicable GST, which will be shown on the invoice once our GST registration is in place.
Cancelling a paid service
- Cooling-off period: cancel within 7 days of payment, and before your first class or session, for a full refund.
- After the course has started: if you cancel after attending sessions but before completing half of the scheduled sessions, you will receive a pro-rata refund for sessions not yet delivered, less any study material already given to you at the stated price.
- After half of the sessions have been delivered, the fee is not refundable, except as set out below.
- Mock test packages: unused mock tests are refundable pro rata within the package validity period.
- Test booking fees paid to test owners are not refunded by Moksh; the test owner's own cancellation rules apply.
When Moksh cancels or cannot deliver
If we cancel a paid course or session, or cannot deliver it as described, you may choose a rescheduled session or a full refund of the fee for the undelivered part. If a service is materially different from what was described, please tell us and we will put it right or refund you.
If you face a genuine emergency, such as serious illness or a bereavement in the family, write to us and we will consider a refund or transfer outside these rules.
How refunds are paid
Send your request to the email address on your invoice or to our grievance team, with your name, invoice number and reason. We will acknowledge it within 2 working days and, once approved, process the refund to the original payment method within 7 working days. Your bank or payment provider may take a few more days to credit it.
We do not make refunds in cash or to a third party's account.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how a refund request has been handled, write to grievance@mokshedufx.com. We will respond within 15 days.
