How it works
- 1
Book a session
Choose a time online or request a call back. Tell us your level of study and preferred countries.
- 2
Share your documents
Upload mark sheets, test scores and your CV before the session, so we can prepare.
- 3
Meet your counsellor
Talk through your goals, budget and options with a named counsellor who stays with you through the process.
- 4
Get your written shortlist
Receive your shortlist, cost estimates and timeline in writing, to review with your family.
What we look at
- Academic record from Class 10 onwards, including backlogs and gaps
- English test scores, or which test suits you if you have not taken one
- GRE, GMAT or SAT scores where relevant
- Work experience, internships, projects and extracurricular activities
- Your career goals and whether you plan to return to India
- Your family's budget and how you plan to fund the course
- Preferred intake and any constraints on timing
What you receive
Within a few working days of your session you receive a written shortlist of courses, grouped as ambitious, realistic and safe choices. For each course we give the reason it is on the list, the entry requirements, the intake, indicative tuition and living costs in rupees, and any scholarships worth applying for.
You also get a timeline working back from your intake, showing when to take tests, apply, arrange funding and file your visa.
Honest advice, including when to wait
Sometimes the best advice is to wait a year, retake a test, gain work experience or study in India first. We will tell you if we think that is the case, and why. Our counsellors are not paid on the number of applications they file.
In person or online
You can meet us at our New Delhi head office or book a video session from anywhere in India. Parents are welcome to join. Sessions usually last 45 minutes to an hour.
Why it is free
Universities pay Moksh a fee when a student we have helped enrols. This is how we keep counselling free for students. It never changes which universities we recommend; every shortlist explains its reasons in writing so you can check them.
Frequently asked questions
Is the profile assessment really free?
Yes, for students it is free, with no obligation to apply through us. Universities pay Moksh when a student enrols, and we are open about this.
What should I bring?
Mark sheets, degree certificates or provisional certificates, any test scores, your CV and a rough idea of your family's budget. If you do not have everything, come anyway.
Can my parents join?
Yes. We encourage it, especially for discussions on budget and funding.
How soon should I book?
Ideally 12 to 18 months before your intended intake, though we can help at any stage.
Will you only recommend universities that pay you?
No. We will recommend the course that fits you best. If a university that suits you is one we do not work with, we will still tell you about it.
