How it works
- 1
Check in on arrival
Message your counsellor when you land, and we will follow up during your first weeks.
- 2
Ask when you need to
Reach your counsellor by email or message for practical problems throughout your course.
- 3
Get connected to the right service
We point you to university, local or community services that can help directly.
What we help with after you land
- Checking in during your first weeks
- Finding longer-term accommodation or resolving a housing problem
- Setting up banking and receiving money from home
- Understanding local registrations and tax numbers
- Pointing you to university services for academic, health or wellbeing support
- Guidance if you want to change course or transfer, and the visa effects
Where we stop, and who takes over
Your university's international student office, counselling service and student union are the right places for most academic and personal matters, and for emergencies you should always call local emergency services. We help you find and use these services; we do not replace them.
Keeping families informed
With your permission, we can help your parents understand what support is available and whom to contact. We do not share your information without your consent.
Feedback that shapes our advice
About a year after arrival we ask students how well our advice held up. Their answers are how we review our counsellors, and help us improve guidance for the students who follow.
Frequently asked questions
How long does post-arrival support last?
Your counsellor stays reachable through your course. Support is most intensive in the first few months.
Is post-arrival support free?
Yes, for Moksh students.
Who do I call in an emergency?
Always call local emergency services first, then your university's security or emergency line. Let us and your family know once you are safe.
Can you help with part-time jobs?
We can explain your visa work rules and point you to your university's careers service, which lists vetted jobs. We do not place students in jobs.
